Sweet temptations in Monasteries.
Walking through the sacred flavoured ways of Naples tasting Neapolitan patisserie.
With this tour you'll know the origins of the sfogliatella, the sanguinaccio,
the pastiera and so on, typical desserts in Naples. These were born thanks to nuns
who lived in important monasteries of the historical center, save the Church of S. Pietro a Majella,
where the friars invented the Celestino V, an almond dessert.
Naples has another exception: the Babà, a “laic dessert”, the king i nNaples!
At the end of the tour a “sweet stop” inside the ancient Palazzo Venezia.
